This is a topic that I feel is important. How should we as Christians view diet (what we eat) and exercise and what is it’s connection to us spiritually and bodily? Check out this video featuring Pastor John Piper and RW Glen as they discuss how your eating, sleeping, and exercise affect you spiritually.
This poem is about the evil spirit that weed is and how it takes over the user. Weed is an idol to people and it makes them do a lot of sinful things that can lead to an eternal fire.
Poet Janette ikz with a powerful poem about the carnal christian. Its hard to tell people are Christians these days because they are so much like the world and in this poem she addresses this issue and its quite convicting. Take a listen. God is really using this young women!
This is rapper, Lecrae’s song “Dont’ wanna waste your life”. A lot of times I listent o christian rap because they truly are preachers in their own right. I feel that this is what God called them to do (well all Christians really), to spread the truth and to in one way or another spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is very innovative and I think the more people get into their word the more their views on what being a Christians means and how it pertains to their own lives , the music you listen to will change. Now your probably wondering what influence music has on Christians and honestly the music we as Christians listen to is a tell tell sign of whether or not we are luke warm Christians or simply just being hypocrites. I say all this to simply say watch your ears what hey hear and what your eyes what they see basically because things that you listen to and see can taint your soul greatly. God Bless you all.
Scripture for the day (or night rather): 1 John 2:15-17
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
